Pieris works with its collaborators to identify those Anticalin® characteristics that are most suited to the ultimate desired product profile; for example, where modulation of a signal transduction pathway in disease is required, Pieris will establish and validate an appropriate functional assay to identify and isolate Anticalins® that will intervene specifically in that pathway.
